What is Endoscopic Surgery?
Endoscopic/laser surgery is a surgical procedure in which the surgeon
makes a small incision in the patient's abdomen which allows the
insertion of a very small telescope called a laparoscope. Using
this instrument allows the surgeon to see the inside of the abdomen to
perform the following procedures:

Excision of endometriosis

Removal of scar tissue (adhesions) to
lessen pain

Removal of ovarian cysts

Removal of the uterus (hysterectomy)

Removal of fibroids (myomectomy)

Correction of urinary stress incontinence
(bladder tack) and/or pelvic prolapse or pelvic relaxation

Treatment of ovarian and endometrial
cancer

Endometrial ablation for correction of
uterine bleeding
